Full Time Construction/BIM Engineer responsible for creating, overseeing and managing firm’s existing and future projects; coordinating with all consultants and general contractors to ensure project delivery milestones are met including strategy for project bids, production of cost estimates, responsibility for bid submittals and change orders; managing quantity take-offs using PlanSwift and Bluebeam; ensuring accounting has correct project charges; tracking quantities executed and quantities to execute in all project activities; creating and tracking punch lists completion; assisting in compilation of close-out documents, including as-built drawings, guarantees, warranties and service manuals for delivery; managing multiple projects and schedules, tracking deliverables and warranties and service manuals for delivery and advising on critical path and timing conflicts; preparing monthly job forecasting; developing as-needed recovery plans; analyzing schedule in support of claims; leading the CAD and BIM tasks including coordinating with project AE team on design changes; updating BIM models using Revit; using NavisWorks for constructability review and clash detection reports; confirming verification and confirmation of conditions as well as resolving clashes between trade groups; enforcing compliance during construction progress as pertains to model. Must have a master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Educational or work background must have included membrane, metallic, cementious and planter waterproofing and spray applied fireproofing, spray foam insulation and spray-on acoustical insulation; familiarity with restoration drawings/methods such as sandblasting and pressure washing, tuck pointing, chemical grouting, epoxy and concrete repair, stucco repair and carbon fiber reinforcement; Primavera P6/ MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit (BIM software);PlanSwift and Bluebeam; engineering procedures covering discipline deliverables, production and control, MS Excel and Estimating-Planning Tools.
